BELWOOD LIONS 2026 PIKE DERBY CANCELLATION
With regret, Belwood Lions is forced to cancel the 2026 Pike Derby scheduled for May 23 & 24.
Due to the planned total renovation of Belwood Hall, and the ongoing construction activity, Belwood Lions have concluded that we can not safely hold our Pike Derby event on site. We do thank our Township for working with us to attempt to make the Derby possible, however we lack a secure space with the public facilities, electrical and internet provisions needed to properly conduct the registration, scoring and awards presentation of the event.
We want to thank all of our loyal anglers and sponsors who, over the recent years have helped us donate forty thousand dollars to Groves Hospital Foundation.
Our next Pike Derby will be held on May 29 & 30, 2027, with a new facility and the same exciting competition and awards.
Remember, the Belwood Lions Pike Derby is always held the weekend following the Victoria Day holiday.

Belwood Pike Derby has been running for 43 years. Throughout this time, we have been fortunate to be sponsored by many businesses, organizations and private individuals. All the money raised from the Derby (less costs) goes back into the community on many local (and not so local) community needs, national charities and worldwide natural disasters.
